The Knitter's Studio is ready to begin its new road. Our vision has
been perfecting over the last two months as we answered every question
our clients had.
The center of our Studio may have seemed to be the yarn. Instead, it
is our clients. It is education, events, entertainment, providing a
place of radiance and fun. And the thread that connects us is the yarn.
This is an homage to our clients.
They have made even our transition time fun and encouraging. Thanks
for all the teaching opportunities, the possibility to introduce yarns
from around the world. For creating events such as fashion shows, swatch
nights, tradeshows.
Thanks to all our clients, our friends.
For us it has always been about the people - not just our clients,
but also our staff, our teachers, all our visitors from across the
country. Our staff have been not only assistants, but associates. They
have been my eyes, my ears, my hands, my helpers. They kept me fed
and they kept me grounded. My partnership with them only, could bring
the Knitter's Studio to our clients.
My sidekick Liz. What can I say. A client called her my partner.
Not surprising, since she is my greatest supporter, the greatest teacher,
she does that math for me and she keeps me on the straight and narrow.
Ultimately, no one more than my husband has been my supporter, my
partner from day one, through any crisis, any computer glitch, any
toilet paper shortage. He encouraged me. He stood by me, tears and
laughter and all.

Now it's time for change
Our definition of change:
• Transformation: a metamorphosis aiming at an interdisciplinary
process towards fiber understanding and refined knitting skills.
• Transition: a transitioning of changing from one definition
of knitting to another.
• Restructure: restore our original vision, a reorganization to
serve its members more efficiently
• Overhaul, revamp The Knitter's Studio into an educational design
studio
 Soon,
It will be time to get back to work and enjoy the beauty of new treasures.
We have great plans to explore more colors, more textures, and more
learning to create more masterworks.
We, on the other hand, will plan fantastic adventures, create an
amazing environment where we will put all our heart all our love. We
will start with great knowledge, great ideas, our love for fabrics,
colors and textures and our respect for your work. We will create an
educational design studio, second to none. We will travel the world
to find the finest and most elegant of creations, and many times we
will be able to invite our members to join.
The Knitter's Studio will finally meet its vision: classes, retreats,
designs, creations, charity work, life and laughter and above all great
fun! |

- April 30 - Final date to redeem filled Frequent
Knitter Cards on non-sale yarn
- May 30 - Valid Studio
Credits will expire
- May 30 - Continue collecting stamps
on Frequent Knitter Cards. The collection of stamps can be used towards
some magnificent gifts and prizes. You must present your cards to win.

 Thank
you ALL who came out during our first week's Quickfire Sale.
It is always a pleasure to see friendly faces and we were able to appease
troubled spirits. Everyone who remembers our very first location is happy
about our restructuring. This leaves us with the thought that we are exactly
on the right path. And so, our membership has already begun growing. |

 We
have decided to restructure The Knitter's Studio and return to our roots
and original vision: high end education, fashion forward design and personal
consultation. The past 7 years have been full of excitement, we built
many friendships across the country and we saw great designs walk through
our doors.
We hope to have enriched our community with knit-outs, fairs and supporting
fundraisers.
We want to thank our community, you, for your support.

now would like to encourage you to remain in touch with our development
by filling out our questionnaire (coming soon). The new Studio will be
based on the options you tell us you want. |
We still have some time ahead of us, during which we will run some incredible
sales and encourage you to collect as many Frequent Knitter Cards as you
can. Frequent Knitter Cards cannot be redeemed towards sale items, but
their value still increases with each stamp you collect. Earn one stamp
for each $20 spent on all merchandise. Each stamp earned will lead to
gifts and prizes. |

All purchases will earn the usual Frequent Knitter Card
stamps. Now - you will really want to keep EVERY single card with all those
stamps. Each stamp collection will earn prizes. We encourage you to play,
collect and win!
Our commitment is to everyone's progress. During this time of transformation
we are unable to offer our complimentary services. Everyone is encouraged
to sign up for a personal consultation class for as little as 1/2 hour
for any project assistance. Regular classes will continue at selected times.
But, mainly, participate in our treasure hunt. The best selection is when
each level is first announced. We will add more and more items each week
- but with such great sales, there will be less and less left. Come early,
save big. Collect for major knitting occasions.
Our questionnaire is aimed at a offering a personal membership in the new
Studio. Each level of a chosen membership offers increasingly valuable
benefits. It can be as little as belonging to a 'sweater of the month'
club, which will contain designs made of the newest yarns and fashions
on the market, to the exclusive access to classes, retreats, yarns, and
personal consultation. |
